Commercial Licensing
A commercial license is required for all registered businesses, non-profits, and educational institutions using the Wondergarten Curriculum. This license grants your organization the legal right to use our intellectual property and to promote your program as a licensed Wondergarten Partner.
Any organization with an EIN (Employer Identification Number) is considered a registered business or non-profit and must obtain a commercial license to use our curriculum in any instructional, revenue-generating, or publicly visible context.
Groups without an EIN—such as homeschool co-ops, learning pods, or parent-led collectives—where no revenue is generated are not required to hold a commercial license, as these are considered personal-use settings.

🧾 Licensing Fees
Licenses are billed based on the maximum student capacity within each tier, using base rate of $150 per student for the full academic year. Annual Fees are discounted 10% from the fee below when paid in full.

🛡️ Compliance & Legal Terms
If your group collects or generates revenue, but has not obtained an EIN, a license is still required. Operating as an unregistered business does not exempt you from the legal obligation to obtain a commercial license. It is the responsibility of the group’s owners or managers to ensure their organization is operating in a legal capacity.
This license does not grant you the legal right to reproduce, manufacture, or resell Wondergarten products or services. This is not a franchise agreement. This license strictly grants permission to use, and advertise the use of, the Wondergarten Curriculum in a school or business setting.
While we are committed to fostering trust and collaboration within the early education community, Wondergarten reserves the right to pursue recovery of unpaid licensing fees and applicable damages if a licensed-status organization misrepresents itself in order to avoid payment.

When selecting the Annual Payment Type for your licenses, expect to obtain a formal Certificate of Commercial License with your business name and details, mailed directly to you. If you choose the Monthly Payment Subscription, you will receive a digital Certificate of Commercial License.
Wondergarten oversees a database of active subscribers, and your licenses will terminate if your annual or monthly payments stop.

A base rate of $150 per student is charged annually. It is divided into 12 equal monthly payments, regardless of your program's duration being 9 months or 12 months, for example.
Annual Fees paid in full are discounted 10%.
Obtaining a commercial licenses includes the ability to legally use our curriculum within your classroom setting, as a Wondergarten partner.
We also include a formal license certificate, mailed to your place of business (annual purchases only), along with a digital certificate, digital informational parent packet and additional private support channel within our Wondergarten community for all licenses holders.
No, you may not use Wondergarten in your business name. This is a required commercial licenses - not a franchise.
You can login to your account to make changes to your subscription at any time. We will be notified of changes to your plan and if you cancel, you will no longer hold a commercial licenses until payment resumes. Payments are non-refundable.
Yes, you can begin promoting with intents to obtain a license once available.
While you can use our curriculum alongside another, a commercial licenses is still required. It also should be clear to families within your program that you are using multiple curriculum.
Yes, commercial licensing is available and required worldwide.
It is your responsibility to upgrade your subscription to the correct tier for the next billing period. Please contact us directly if you need assistance with this!
No, our annual fee is split into 12 monthly payments or a one-time annual fee which keeps your licenses active for an entire year from the date of purchase.
At this time, our pricing is offered in tiers only.
Yes, there is a private, invitation-only space on our Wondergarten community through MN for license holders only to connect with likeminded business owners using the curriculum. There is no additional charge for this space as it is created soley for commercial license holders!
It would fall under the tier for the total number of students. Please choose based on per Student, or total enrollment.
There are no refunds for annual or monthly license purchases. All purchases are final, however you may cancel your subscription at any time (surrendering your active licenses.)
Your privacy is important to Wondergarten. We keep all records confidential unless you choose to opt into our online directory. If you do, we'll share your business name, location, and website with interested families worldwide.
